Who this course is for

  • Expats and internationals in Zurich who need a recognised German certificate.
  • Professionals who need German proof for work, a diploma recognition or an employer requirement.
  • Learners preparing for telc Deutsch B1 or B2 specifically.
  • People who need a language certificate for residence, naturalisation or studies.
  • Anyone who would like the orientation and learning strategy explained in English first.

What you will practise

Reading — understanding texts and matching information quickly.
Listening — dialogues, announcements and short talks under exam conditions.
Writing — letters, messages and structured opinions, with correction.
Speaking — contact phase, talking about a topic, planning together with a partner.
Language elements — the grammar and vocabulary that telc actually tests.
Mock exams, timing and exam strategy so the test day feels familiar.

One honest note about language

The telc exam is a German exam, so the preparation course is conducted mainly in German — that is exactly what gets you ready. What can be in English is the part that often holds people back: your first orientation, the explanation of the exam format and your personal learning strategy. So you always understand the plan, even before your German is fully there.
